Forget a cosy chalet, these days to be down with the kids you should be spending your ski holiday in a shipping container , - British newspaper The Sun reports.
The Quadrum Ski hotel that was built 2,200 metres above sea level has been named a clever new ski resort in Georgia. The hotel located in the country’s one of the most popular ski resort Gudauri has already attracted considerable interest internationally. It is noteworthy that the cool and sophisticated boutique hotel was constructed from re-purposed shipping containers and it is eco-friendly.
“Thanks to the mountain-inspired pyramid design all rooms have panoramic views and several have terraces where the resort says you can “watch a movie with a glass of Georgian wine”. Accommodation ranges from single rooms to family and deluxe suites, and there is also a swimming pool and sauna. Built in a minimalist style, the hotel seems to repeat the local terrain, cascading down the mountainside.”, - The Sun reports.
