Georgia topped the list of countries in the category "Gastronomic and agrotourism", according to an online version of National Geographic Traveler. The list of countries of leaders in different nominations is made up according to the results of online voting on the site.
36% of users named Georgia as an ideal country for gastronomic and agritourism. On the second place was Italy with 26%, on the third - Belarus with 13%.
In addition to its attractiveness in the field of gastronomic tourism, Georgia ranked third in the category "Ski vacation" with 10%, conceding only Switzerland (44%) and Austria (32%).
The first place in the category "Excursion vacation" was taken by Italy, for which 45% of respondents voted. This is followed by France (23%) and Great Britain (19%).
