This heaven land, called Tusheti, is a historic region in northeast Georgia. Located on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Tusheti is bordered by the Russian republics of Chechnya and Dagestan to the north and east, and by the Georgia’s historic provinces Kakheti and Pshav-Khevsureti to the south and west, respectively.
This unique and mesmerizing photo published by social media user named Salome Meliqishvili depicts the great peaks of Tusheti surrounded by the ocean of clouds, emphasizing how high this place is above sea level.
